International Journal of Environmental Technology and Management
Special Issue on: “Contribution of Management Sciences to Sustainable Development”
Guest Editor: Professor Caroline Gauthier, Grenoble Ecole de Management, France
This special edition will be devoted to the tools developed by the management sciences in order to help implement sustainable development in/of the organisation.
In the context of globalisation and the growing demand for transparency, sustainable development is now considered by organisations and their stakeholders as being the development model to follow. Private or public, an increasing number of organisations act and communicate on their triple performance (economic, environmental and social) rather than on their economic one only.
However implementing sustainability is not self-evident and managers do need tools for such an objective. This special issue welcomes research articles on any tool developed or adapted by management sciences which would favour the implementation of sustainability.
Subject CoverageSuitable articles include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
- Incentives which would lead to the choice of a sustainable development model
- Strategic tools
- Operational tools in all fields of management
- Case studies
