Special Issue on "Modelling Complex Systems"

Guest Editors:
Dr. Ruili Wang, Massey University, New Zealand
Prof. H.J. Ruskin, Dublin City University, Ireland

The special issue of Modelling Complex Systems is intended for both basic and applied research in complex systems, with particular emphasis on emergent behaviour. The investigation of nonlinear processes, predictability and concepts (such as order, complexity and information interdependence), informs our understanding of how complex systems behave and may provide insight into dynamics, development and control. The emphasis of this special issue is on research that demonstrates originality in all areas of Modelling Complex Systems. Subject Coverage
Systems exhibiting complex and emergent behaviour may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
  • Biological systems
  • Financial systems
  • Physical systems
  • Social systems
  • Traffic and transportation

  • Notes for Prospective Authors
