Feedback control is a very useful technique for obtaining desired results in real-time conditions for many different applications. Traditionally, feedback control techniques have been used mostly in electro-mechanical systems. However, their framework can be useful in many different applications. Feedback control can be used in not only systems that are mechanical or electrical, but that are also financial, marketing, internet, communication networks, biological, transportation, psychological, educational, etc., systems.
This special issue is intended to present applications of feedback control in non-traditional systems. The papers can present different problems, models and feedback control designs for these applications.
Subject CoverageWe encourage the application of feedback control techniques in non-traditional areas. The papers in the traditional areas can be of review type. The traditional areas include but are not limited to the following topics:
- Robotics
- Motor control
- Aeronautics and space systems
- Thermal and fluid systems
- Marketing
- Internet applications
- Finance
- Manufacturing
- Transportation
- Human-centric systems
- Mathematical psychology
