Information has become a vital resource for the successful management of an enterprise. The successful management of security technology and policy in a corporate environment is indispensable to its contined growth. The goal of security management in such an envrionment is the continuous safeguarding of business processes and knowledge. This special issue aims to solve the difficult problems that an organisation frequently faces in business environments when it tries address information security issues, by providing practical and various research results.

Topics of interest focus on, but are not limited to:

• Compliance and legal liability
• Strategic management of information security
• Information assurance using security technology
• Policy, procedures, and guidelines for corporate security
• Best practices or case studies on management of information security technology

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere
