Special Issue on: "Precision Engineering and Tribology"

The purpose of this issue is to explore the relationship between tribology and precision in manufacturing. The issue will cover but is not limited to nano-technology and nano-tribology.
Applications of precision manufacturing in, for example, orthopaedic endoprostheses are also welcome. Authors are also encouraged to submit papers relating to constraints imposed by tribology and precision manufacturing (in its current form) on new environmental technologies (the new ‘green economy’).
Subject CoverageSuitable topics include but are not limited to:
- Precision engineering
- Tribology
- New materials
- Biomedical engineering
- New precision technologies to support the environment
Notes for Prospective Authors
Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original paper).
All papers are refereed through a peer review process.
