Special Issue on: "Modelling and Simulation of Chaotic Processes"

Guest Editors:
Dr. Ahmad Taher Azar, Benha University, Egypt
Prof. Sundarapandian Vaidyanathan, Vel Tech University, India

Chaotic processes are dynamical systems arising in the engineering modelling of various processes that are highly sensitive to initial conditions. Chaotic processes also include as a special case hyperchaotic processes, which are chaotic systems having at least two positive Lyapunov exponents. Thus, hyperchaotic processes have very complex dynamical behaviour which can be used to improve the security of a chaotic communication system. Hence, the theoretical design and circuit realisation of various hyperchaotic signals have become important research topics in recent years.

This special issue aims at presenting the latest developments, trends, research solutions and applications of chaotic and hyperchaotic processes with special emphasis on modelling and simulation of the processes in real-world applications which give rise to chaotic behaviour. Business, ecological and biological processes exhibiting chaotic behaviour will also be studied in this special issue. Various applications of chaotic processes to fields such as secure communication, data encryption with special emphasis on simulation and process modelling will also explored.

We invite researchers to contribute original research articles and review articles that will stimulate continuing efforts to improve the current state of art in the aforementioned fields.
