Currently, knowledge about engineering education presents great interest in improving communication between professors, researchers and students in universities, engineering schools, institutes, laboratories and industry. The development of the educational system is fundamental for sustainable technological change. This special issue will be focused on advances in engineering education with emphasis in curriculum development, pedagogy and didactic aspects. Articles with case studies in engineering education for sustainability are welcome.

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original paper).
All papers are refereed through a peer review process.
