Abstract: Numerous studies have explored the growth and development of entrepreneurship in general and technological entrepreneurship (TE) in specific in South Asia. Many of these studies empirically validate the influence of different factors in the development of TE. This study attempts to explore the factors influencing development of TE and develop a model utilising total interpretive structural modelling (TISM) technique to depict factors affecting a the development of TE hierarchically using data collected from focus group discussions undertaken with founders of TE. The results add further value to the findings of empirical studies undertaken in this area.
