Abstract: Export credit agencies (ECAs) play an important role in a country's export oriented economy. Due to the importance, this research aims to evaluate the performance of ECAs that are members of the Prague Club and the Berne Union, based on four inputs and five outputs. For the purpose of performance benchmarking, data envelopment analysis (DEA) is applied in this research to investigate the performance variables. The results show that, among the selected ECAs, 12 of them are efficient and nine are inefficient. Moreover, we demonstrate how inefficient ECAs can benchmark against efficient ECAs for better performance by prioritising inputs and outputs.
