The right to water as a fundamental human right in Poland and worldwide

Abstract: Currently visible climate changes, population growth, growing demand of industry and agriculture for water cause that the problem of lack of access to (drinking) water will appear in the near future also in areas where it has not occurred so far. The above article discusses the issue of the right to water. The paper presents the reasons justifying the introduction of the right to water into legal acts regulating human rights under international law, as well as to legal acts of regional scope.
