Impact of ICT training and education on women's employability and entrepreneurial skills: achieving the sustainable development goals

Abstract: This study investigates the influence of skills-based ICT training and education on women's employability and their entrepreneurial skills in the context of Pakistan. With the help of printed survey questionnaire, the current study collected the data from 182 women. Moreover, in order to analyse the data, partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was applied through SmartPLS software. The findings of this study revealed that skills-based ICT training and education has a significant and positive impact on women's employability and their entrepreneurial skills. Moreover, women's employability skills are positively associated with the women's entrepreneurial skills. Finally, the researchers concluded this study with limitations and directions for future research.
