Abstract: Informal learning for many people starts at home from the moment they were born until they die. Starting from as simple as learning Arabic alphabet, informal learning of Islamic context for children is a vital part in any Muslim child development. However, the platform for children to obtain informal learning within Islamic context is limited. The rapid development of emerging technologies for mobile devices has increased the possibility to exploit them for creation of Islamic context's application necessary for children's informal learning phase. As such, this project aims at developing a mobile application for android that enables children and parents to learn Islamic hadiths in an interactive and engaging manner called 'Hidup Cara Rasullullah'. User acceptance and usability testing results demonstrate an acceptable level of user acceptance and usability of the application. The mobile application is able to assist parents and teachers in promoting hadith learning among children in an informal learning environment.
