Abstract: This paper introduces an analysis of the relationship that boys and girls establish with the spaces in which they live, taking into account their satisfaction with the neighbourhood and their well-being, and paying special attention to the daily situation of boys and girls who reside in cities of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. In terms of methodology, it is a research study in which the quantitative method was used and the International Survey of Children's Well-being (ISCWeB) was applied; an instrument created by Children's Worlds - international research network devoted to the study of child well-being all over the world. We worked with boys and girls between 8 and 10 years of age, during the period 2015-2018. The primary results reveal that children experience an intermediate level of satisfaction with their neighbourhood, and a lower level of satisfaction with the feeling of safety when walking through the streets of the neighbourhoods they inhabit.
