Abstract: This paper aims to identify the enablers of leagile supply chain in Indian automobile sector and obtain their ranking. As the implementation of the lean and agility strategies alone will be not as effective, so the concept of leagile supply chain could be a better idea for the sustainability of any supply chain. This paper identifies various enablers from literature review and experts opinion. The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) methodology was applied for determining relative importance and selecting best approach in leagile practice. The results of the study show that customer responsiveness is the key enabler, followed by quality management and structure dynamics, which are the most important first level enablers. Other enablers are grouped in second and third level as per their ranking. Focusing on different strategies as per the ranking of the enablers would be the key factor in the implementation of leagile supply chain management.
