Abstract: This study analyses the measurement and promotion measures of the brand influence of Xi'an convention and exhibition industry under the background of government management and the construction of free trade zone. Rigorous market research is the requirement of the time to adjust measures to local conditions to develop the exhibition economy. A reasonable plan includes exhibition venues and large cities' layout exhibition venues while small and medium-sized cities also want to highlight the characteristics of the venue to avoid wasting social resources. The number of convention visitors determines the success or failure of an event, as well as the economic benefits of a destination. For the government management, playing a crucial role is to investigate the status quo, conditions, internal relations, external support, whether there are problems, whether there is a large area of promotion in China and other issues of advanced significance.
