Abstract: This interview explores the work of Ikujiro Nonaka, Professor Emeritus of the Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy, Hitotsubashi University and also Xerox Distinguished Faculty Scholar, University of California, Berkeley. His main research interest is in building a new theory of organisational knowledge creation. He has been conducting comparative research on knowledge creating processes in companies around the world. He has also been conducting research on the characteristics of strategic and of innovative activities in Japanese companies.
