Abstract: To remain competitive, organisations prefer the implementation of some of the effective waste management techniques for the purpose of increasing their profits. Lean Six Sigma is one of the most effective techniques identified for the purpose of waste reduction. In the present study the various motivational factors for the implementation of Lean Six Sigma has been identified and further a questionnaire on the licker scale of five has been floated among various manufacturing SMEs throughout India. The collected responses are further gathered in a compiled data sheet and further the analysis on the gathered data has been done. Mean values of the available data are calculated on the basis of which box plots, Interval plots and histogram plots were plotted by using Minitab software.
