Abstract: In this study, the authors assess the electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) research in the tourism sector using bibliometric analysis. VOSviewer and RStudio software were used in this study's bibliometric analysis of 695 papers. The authors started by reviewing the history of e-WOM in the tourism sector from 2001 to 2021. After surveying relevant literature, this paper identified the most influential authors, journals, documents, and countries. Our data demonstrate a significant increase in publications for the field of study. The majority of the publications are American. The current research focuses on four main aspects: e-WOM dimensions, e-WOM in tourism, performance analysis, and science mapping analysis.
