Abstract: This study aims to examine the voluntary compliance of product and service and employee related dimensions of Shariah principles. For this, a checklist was developed, which was adapted from various works done by previous researchers. The sample comprised in this study covers the whole population of Shariah companies in the 500 Shariah and nifty Shariah indices during the period of 2013 till 2018. The results of the present study demonstrated that the sampled companies and various industries' affirmations are far less than what is being delivered than what actually is required concerning the preparation of the full compliance of Shariah principles. Greater accountability and transparency should be provided, as recommended by Islamic principles. In this way faith of investors can also be retained and led to the development of Islamic finance in India, otherwise it may hinder the sustenance and growth of the system.
