Research of a logistics coordination level in procurement

Abstract: The main objective of the study is to analyse logistics coordination, which is one of the most effective tools to address market challenges. The research was carried out on the basis of a comparative analysis of the statistical data obtained from a group of companies. The study looked at the state of coordination mechanisms in the procurement of goods and services. It looked at trends in the development of coordination mechanisms intended for organisations of various areas of activity. The study defined their scientific value and impact on the competitiveness of integrated supply chains, it says. The author used the methods of factorial, statistical and comparative analyses, expert assessments, questionnaires, and comparison. The research is based on a study of companies that took part in the survey in the period from July to October 2020. The author intends to investigate the strength of the coordination mechanisms in procurement. The analytical hierarchy method will serve as the basis for such research.
