Abstract: In order to effectively improve the translation error correction effect of English long sentences, improve the translation error correction accuracy and shorten the correction time, this paper studies the translation error correction method of English long sentences based on support vector machine. Firstly, the translation information of English long sentences is introduced into the feature space to construct the translation error generation function of English long sentences. Then, using the parallel corpus of English long sentence translation errors, the translation error generation function is trained to obtain the samples of English long sentence translation errors. Finally, the error correction of English long sentence translation is realised based on support vector machine. The experimental results show that the translation error correction accuracy of the proposed method can be significantly improved, up to 98.8%, the correction time can be significantly shortened, and the translation error correction accuracy and efficiency can be effectively improved.
