Abstract: Social employment opportunities are increasing from the perspective of sustainable development, but employment conditions are more detailed and strict. Therefore, this article studies the opportunities and challenges faced by employment management from the perspective of sustainable development. The relationship between sustainable development and employment is analysed to determine the significance of employment management research from the perspective of sustainable development. By analysing the employment trends of different groups of people and analysing the current situation of employment management, it is determined that the opportunities faced by employment management from the perspective of sustainable development include industrial restructuring, increased entrepreneurial employment opportunities, and a more flexible employment situation. The challenges faced include the gradual increase in technical unemployment, weak awareness of public services, and lagging construction of public service platforms for employment, achieving an analysis of the opportunities and challenges faced by employment management.
