Abstract: This paper constructs an indicator system of employment quality and skilled talent supply from the macro-level, evaluates the employment quality and skilled talent supply in the two years before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 by using the entropy method and calculates the coupling coordination and correlation degree between the two systems. The research shows that the level of economic development is an important dimension affecting the employment quality, and the education level has the least influence on the employment quality of skilled talents. After the outbreak of the epidemic, employment training and employment opportunities have a greater impact on the quality of employment, and lead to a more serious shortage of skilled talents. The antagonistic coupling between the quality of employment and the supply of skilled talents has become more serious due to the impact of the epidemic.
