Abstract: The study aimed to examine the effect of motivating factors (pull/push) on the performance of mom's entrepreneurial projects. Educational and training barriers as moderating variable was used to check their indirect effect on the relationship between motivating factors (pull/push) and the performance of mom's entrepreneurial projects. The obtained data were analysed using SPSS 28 program and covariance-based structural equation modelling with AMOS 24 was used to test the proposed hypotheses. The results showed that personal satisfaction, business opportunities, the dream to be an entrepreneur, and financial needs significantly influenced business performance. The study revealed that educational and training barriers played a moderating role in the connection between personal satisfaction, dissatisfaction with the labour market, and financial needs concerning business performance. This is among the first studies that analyse the effect of motivating factors (pull/push) on the performance of mom's entrepreneurial projects, and educational and training barriers as moderating variables in an emerging country.
