Abstract: This paper aims to comprehensively assess existing research on ethical finance using the Scopus database. Analysing research papers from January 1987 to April 2020, the study employs the bibliometric method, utilising VOSviewer for data analysis. After descriptive analysis, the study distributes articles based on metrics such as productive countries, institutions, journals, authors, citations, co-relationships, keyword occurrences, and research performance. The study explores eight themes, including corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, financial institutions, Islamic banking, regulations, financial crisis, ethical banking, and business ethics. Concluding that past research holds significant value, the study also highlights the growing relevance and popularity of ethical finance in contemporary global financial markets. The paper identifies potential research areas for future exploration within the realm of ethical finance.
