Abstract: This research paper examines whether post-harvest technology moderates the relationship between post-harvest handling and supply chain efficiency of apples in Dehradun and Uttarkashi Districts of Uttarakhand or not. The sample size was 459 and 409 responses were used for the study. The researchers distributed the semi-structured questionnaires to the respondents (apple growers). Descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), correlation, and simple linear regression (SLR) techniques were put in use for the data analysis process. It has been disclosed that post-harvest handling is significantly and positively related to supply chain efficiency of apples. It has also been revealed that post-harvest technology acts as a moderator between post-harvest handling and supply chain efficiency of apples in Dehradun and Uttarkashi Districts of Uttarakhand. The limitation of the study is only Dehradun and Uttarkashi Districts of Uttarakhand and only apple fruits have been considered in the research study.
