Abstract: This study attempts to examine the relationship between knowledge management (KM) and team performance (TP) in public research institutes of Yazd agriculture department using common assessment framework (CAF). KM measurement scales consisting five dimensional structures: leadership, HRM, strategy, process, and resources and partnerships were used together with TP measurement scales consisting four dimensional structures: people (team member), key TP, customers (farmers) and society. The sample was chosen from faculty and non-faculty researchers of the institutes in Yazd province. The data was collected using 131 questionnaires on which basis structural equation modelling (SEM) was applied to test the relationship between the items. The study showed that KM enablers except strategy have positive significant relationship with TP in dimension of society and farmer in Yazd agricultural research institutes. KM processes with the highest coefficient was the key enabler.
