Abstract: The content analysis approach was used in the literature review paper, which focused on freight logistics supply chain risk management. Several aspects of the literature review were investigated and analysed. The goal of the study, years of publishing, journal names or publications, techniques, theories used, country of study, crucial success elements, obstacles and barriers, and article contributions by universities were all thoroughly reviewed. The analysis uncovered ten key findings, including: a high proportion of empirical (survey interview and modelling) based studies in the field of freight logistics supply chain risk management; a lack of empirical validity on the fusion of freight logistics and supply chain risk management; a lack of theoretical based studies, and so on.
