Abstract: In this paper, we introduce our research in the use of Mobile ICT in Finnish and Indonesian education systems for the past three years. Based on the research results, the paper discusses the potentials and challenges in the use of Mobile ICT for learning in Finland and Indonesia. Concluding the paper, several m-learning scenarios will illustrate the viable m-learning applications in both developed and developing countries.
