Abstract: In this study, four Reynolds-averaged eddy-viscosity turbulence models (a linear κ – ω, a linear κ – ω, a nonlinear κ – ε and a nonlinear κ – ω) were applied to a transonic flow around an airfoil, being called 'ONERA M6 wing'. The particular concern was focused on the model performance under various grid resolutions in the vicinity of wall surface. Computed results were compared with each other and the corresponding experimental data and the model performance was discussed in detail.
