Abstract: A novel immune feedback controller (IFC) system is proposed in this paper with its design principle, stability analysis with tracking and robustness simulations. Firstly, the IFC is derived from the biological immune feedback model based on the imitation of the relationship among antigens, T-cells and B-cells, while a new non-linear function is proposed to describe the reaction between restrain T-cells and B-cells. Then, the stability and boundedness analysis of the immune control system for the self-balanced thermal processes is proved, based on the small-gain theorem. Consequently, the range of parameters of the IFC is obtained. Finally, the tracking and robustness simulation results of the superheated steam temperature immune control system prove that the range of parameters of the IFC is valid and the immune control system constituted with IFC proposed performances well.
