Abstract: This paper presents the design and implementation of a digital controller for a multiple output buck converter operating at the switching frequency of 100 KHz. The implementation of the digital controller is using a low cost 16-bit fixed point PIC microcontroller. Compensator using digital control techniques and simulink model of the converter in closed loop is also presented. This paper proposes a closed loop solution to overcome limit cycling in DC-DC converter using digital control techniques. Experimental results are also presented in this paper to validate the results of the theoretical analysis of the converter.
