Abstract: This paper presents results of an experimental study for the establishment of a mathematical function to determine dose rates in the Gamma Irradiation Facility at Nuclear Technology Development Center (CDTN) an R&D Institute connected to the National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN), Brazil. The study was carried out within the framework of the Facility Quality Assurance Program using Fricke reference dosimeters for the measurements of the absorbed dose to water. The results will contribute to the establishment of dosimetry protocols based in a correct dose determination that will ensure accurate measurements and therefore reproducible results in irradiation process.
