Abstract: The paper addresses synchronisation of two different order chaotic systems with time delay in response system using modified projective synchronisation. The uncertainty in the parameters of both drive and response systems is considered while designing adaptive controller and adaptive parameter updating laws, based on Lyapunov stability theory. Numerical simulations for two cases, i.e., synchronisation between hyper-chaotic Lorenz and time delayed chaotic Lü system and hyper-chaotic Lü and advanced Lorenz system with delayed dynamics, are presented to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
