Abstract: Internet auctions have made rapid progress in recent years. Managers must be cautious before launching their company into internet and e-auction ventures. In this paper, we presented the implication of electronic auction and proposed a novel Reverse Vickrey Auction with Threshold Cryptosystem (RVT) auction protocol to solve bid privacy problems in typical reverse Vickrey auctions. Our proposed RVT protocol is robust against any cheating bidders.
