Abstract: We consider a mathematical model describing magnetisation dynamics with non-scalar damping. The model consists on a generalised Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation with a general damping tensor. We apply Faedo-Galerkin/penalty method to show the existence of global weak solutions in one-dimensional case.
