Abstract: This work presents a method for modelling and analysis of production systems. This model covers the product structure, production resources and work plan. A modelling tool based on this technology was developed. The PMSTool is a tool that provides an environment for modelling production system without the need of Petri net knowledge, hence being a differential to other similar tools.
