Abstract: Fast changing customer taste, increasing global competition, and stiffer environmental norms forced organisations worldwide to device novel manufacturing strategy. The present research focused on novel approach to model green lean and agile manufacturing with the factors of sustainable strategic advantage within Indian automotive SMEs environment by applying structural equation modelling. Weight assignment of various factors are done applying entropy value methodology. After validating the model, various attributes of green lean and agile manufacturing were ranked using variety of MCDM techniques in relation to sustainable strategic advantage. Ranking has been finalised using the novel and most robust MULTIMOORA algorithm. Ranking suggested most important attributes were customer satisfaction, closely followed by problem prevention and identification, responsiveness, and others. Outcome may help in prioritisation of various attributes of green lean and agile manufacturing in order to develop more productive manufacturing system to attain significant sustainable strategic advantage for Indian SMEs in automotive sector.
