Abstract: In this article, a new model of a serious game design has been proposed. In general, designing a serious game requires the choice of a suitable model and simplicity in adaptation which requires minimal competency. The creating process of this type of game requires the participation of the different individuals who seek to ensure a better pedagogical-playful adaptation. To do this, our proposed model integrates the teacher into the learning process by allowing them to add, modify and adapt new parts (exercise content) into the game. In this work, we applied this model proposal to create an idea of a serious game that aims to improve learners' skills in Java language, by providing them with a learning environment based on the spirit of challenge and motivation. The results obtained in terms of learning rate and simplicity showed the quality of our model and the designed game.
