Title: Lethargic approach in expediting financial reporting system: a case of construction firm

Abstract: This study intends to critically discuss the situation of lethargic approach in expediting the financial reporting system in a construction firm. The entire analysis is based on secondary data of the case. The present analysis attempts to fulfil the research gap about strategic management orientation towards financial reporting. In present case, the concern construction firm had an inside procedure for gathering monetary record and other monetary reports from all branches to the central administrative centre. The bookkeeping division expected to have the most recent information from the branches consistently, yet the branches had fundamental issues in making and presenting the reports on time. Because of this, the greatest trouble for the organisation was the undertaking of delivering everyday bookkeeping reports. The outcomes of case-analysis help the scholars to understand the role of key actors in strategic decision-making in direction to implement the restructuring and reengineering process in an individual firm.
