Abstract: In this paper, factors essential for implementing seru production are ranked according to their priority according to analytic network process (ANP) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) technology. From the literature review, four main factors and 16 sub-factors were picked out and are validated by industrial experts and academia. Then, both ANP and AHP methods were applied to find the most influencing factors for seru implementation and also the results are validated through sensitivity analysis. The analysis carried out concludes that for implementing seru production, 'moveable workstation', (MW) 'light equipment' (LTE) 'multi-skilled labour' and 'cross-training of labour', are the most influencing and enabling factors that managers of industries should focus on. The process followed in this paper can be utilised by industries for seru production implementation. The approach followed in this paper is of the first few to be carried out for factor analysis for implementing seru production system (SPS).
