Title: An exploratory research on resilience and emotional intelligence among teaching professionals in the educational sector

Abstract: The term 'emotional intelligence' (EI) refers to the capacity to recognise, manage, and evaluate emotions. Understanding, controlling, expressing, interpreting, and reacting to other people's emotions is essential. Instructors' EI and how they handle pupils, and the learning environment are of the utmost importance for controlling pupils and the learning environment. It helps teachers and students manage their stress and preserve workplace harmony. The study compares gender-based perspectives on the many factors influencing emotional Intelligence and resilience. In Tamil Nadu, 188 teaching staff from private institutions teaching engineering and the arts participated in the survey. Together with the respondents' independent variables that explained the respondents' demographics, the questionnaire included 12 significant dependent variables of resilience. The acquired data is examined using the SPSS software's independent sample T-test and chi-square to compare the group means. The research's key conclusions were examined, and advice was provided.
