Abstract: The findings of this study reveal that process interaction, management of human resources, degree of risk, project features and process control are out factors determining successful risk management in construction projects in India. Significant difference exists amongst characteristics of respondents and factors determining successful risk management in construction projects excluding professional group and number of employees used. Significant difference exists amongst characteristics of respondents and performance of construction projects. Significant difference exists amongst characteristics of respondents and success of construction projects. Process interaction, management of human resources, process control and project features have positive and significant impact, while degree of risk has negative and significant impact on success of construction projects process interaction, management of human resources, project features and process control are directly and positively influencing, whilst risk is directly and negatively influencing performance of construction projects, whilst performance is directly and positively influencing success of construction projects.
