Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the effect of global warming on agricultural production in Benin between 1990 and 2019. Our research that uses the ARDL bounds method suggests that carbon dioxide emissions positively affect agriculture and its subsectors in the short run. However, its impact is negative in the long-term except for fishery. In both runs, rainfall positively affects agriculture and crops but negatively affects livestock. It has no impact on fishery. Temperature has a detrimental impact on agriculture and crops in the short run but a positive effect on livestock. Its effect on livestock is non-significant.
