Abstract: This study proposes a research method for examining the technology of smart campus construction under the constraint of energy consumption limit. Firstly, a research model for examining the technology of smart campus construction under the constraint of energy consumption limit is constructed, and then its performance is analysed. The research results show that the GM (1,1) improved BP neural network model (GM-BP) combination algorithm used in the model has better accuracy and extremely high stability compared with a single algorithm. Compared with other algorithms, its RMSE remains at a good level of 0.985, and the algorithm achieves the predetermined error of 104 through 24 training sessions, which achieves the predetermined target. Therefore, the performance of this energy consumption limit constrained smart campus construction scrutiny technology research model is reliable and can accurately predict the campus electricity consumption.
