Abstract: The objective of this study is to conduct a comprehensive synthesis and analysis of the extant literature about the degree of supply chain integration. Three key inquiries warrant examination: 1) What are the underlying factors that contribute to differences in defining various levels of supply chain integration?; 2) Within the context of supply chain management, what are the factors that give rise to discrepancies in defining different degrees of integration?; 3) When it comes to supply chain integration, what are the bases for variations in defining different levels of integration? To comprehensively examine the scope of supply chain integration and its influence on chain efficiency, a systematic approach was employed to analyse 293 research studies - ultimately narrowing it down to 127 - spanning from Jan 1st, 2015 until January 2023. These studies were sourced from a range of reputable platforms. The study yielded a significant inventory of dimensions, performance.
