Abstract: Demand for higher education is increasing rapidly in Bangladesh. The quality of education offered by universities has been a source of concern. This study examines the influence of academic performance on job success of the private university graduates. Quantitative method is used in this study. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling technique. Survey technique is used to collect data about the variables. The respondents are the BBA graduates from Green University of Bangladesh. Regression analysis was done to find out the relationship between the two variables. The research finds statistically insignificant relationship between the academic performance and job success of the graduates. Academic performance should not be viewed as the sole determinant of job success.
