Abstract: This study aims to examine recent characteristics of innovation and knowledge management within Confucian Asian economies by reviewing and discussing articles on such practices within this area. These categorisations based on widely-used official language families are exploratorily applied in order to classify the innovation project and operation characteristics based on knowledge. Businesses operating within local language family clusters are shown to participate in various innovative and knowledge management activities which continue developing. One major benefit of this study is introducing these regional innovation and knowledge management trends and key features during the period from 2010 to 2019. Scholars in the management field can also consider the implications of classifying Confucian Asia and other regions based on language families from this review study conducted by the author.
