Abstract: This research aimed at investigating the mediating effect of ethical culture on the relationship between business ethics and financial performance. The population of the study consisted of 193 business companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange. Performance measurement relied on data for the years (2016-2018) that were available at the time of conducting the study. A questionnaire was designed to measure the independent and the mediating variables. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22 was used to process and analyse the data. The results showed that business ethics have an effect on financial performance, and ethical culture was found not mediating the effect of business ethics on financial performance. Based on the findings, the study concluded with some recommendations for practitioners and future research.
