The main focus of our model, however, is concerned with the curvilinearity of the relationship between visible diversity and firm outcomes. We also explore contextual factors, which are relevant when modeling the diversity-organizational effectiveness relationship. In sum, we offer a framework for understanding what conditions may be necessary to obtain positive organizational effects from visible diversity.
